House discussion
|
Terry estimated cost for electricity would be
$78 per month per tenant for Campus West. He said the latest price negotiated
for Campus West was $489,500.
Bob Schumaker said basement windows for the modular unit would allow egress. He felt that the modular unit would do more to promote camaraderie among the brothers. Ceilings are 8 foot in the modular unit. Bob noted that interest would need to be paid during the construction phases. It was also mentioned that the property for a modular unit would require a holding pond. It was mentioned that we may need legal cover for profits made before we make Campus West a fraternity house. Bob Leoni was said to be available to help us with legal issues. He had volunteered. Vic mentioned that board members would likely require Indemnity insurance to remove personal responsibility. Jake and Connor said that anything over $700 per month for rent would likely create trouble among the brothers. The idea of changing the first floor of Campus West to accommodate common areas was presented. |
It was moved and resolved that Terry would
approach the Campus West owner and offer to purchase. The price range agreed to
was $391,000 to $435,000.
