Newsletter
|
Orin Rehorst discussed the usefulness of a newsletter. This
was John Bokum’s idea.
1. Plans are to have a newsletter mailed every 6 months.
Lou recommended the use of over-size double-sided cards for the newsletter.
2. We plan to add a field to the roster for experience.
The goal is to help job seekers find contacts in their field of interest.

Orin will draft the first newsletter for the board to
approve and send out to the brotherhood.

Orin Rehorst moved we accept the slate of brothers for
the upcoming board elections.

The board unanimously approved the slate of candidates.
The slate of candidates will be sent to the membership
for ratification.

Bylaw revisions
Lou Scudere discussed the revisions to the bylaws (draft
copies given to all present at the meeting).

Lou Scudere will update the bylaws based on the
discussion at the meeting. Copies will be sent to the board members for
review. Upon board approval the bylaws will be available for the membership
to review before adoption.

Golf and Dinner Event August 8 2015
Join in for golf, dinner, and comradery. Tee times will start at 12:00 PM. Golf will be split between the 2 courses so we will all end around 5 PM.

Other Announcements:
- Our chapter achieved an academic average of 3.1.
- We came in 3rd place in Greek Week.
- Alumni Randy Fritz volunteered to speak on the first night of Fall recruitment.
- Dave Gish and John Bokum announced plans for another Northwestern football game-tailgate this Fall.
- Two fraternities have been suspended at WIU. See the minutes for details.
